Van der Vlist activities in The Americas

Despite being a European market leader, the Van der Vlist activities do not stop at the continent borders. Although lesser known, Van der Vlist has been working in different parts of The Americas for years. A wide range of activities are carried out throughout Canada, the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and more Central and South American countries.

Originally, Van der Vlist is recognizable by the orange trucks. Although we do not ship our own trucks, the Van der Vlist knowledge and experience has no trouble travelling overseas. Overseas activities include:

Arrangement of (multimodal) door-to-door transports, including Offloading (e.g. by mobile crane or gantry), Port operations, Rail transport, Road transport to site, Installation, and Skidding and jacking
Technical assistance and supervision
Export documents
Clearance ( our own bonded licence )
Packing
Storage

Over the years, Van der Vlist has done many projects. A few examples from this year are an airfreight project from Canada, Local transport and shipping of OOG goods from and to US and Canada, Local transport and shipping of Breakbulk cargo to Brazil and Argentina, and much more. Previous examples are:

Transport, offloading and installation of cogeneration engines from Norway to Mexico

Multimodal transports of antique army equipment/classis vehicles for museums, collectors, veterans, forwarders and traders from Europe to the Americas
